Haku Maki

Haku Maki  (1924-2009)
Haku Maki was born in Asomachi in Ibarargi Prefecture.  His real name was Maejima Tadaaki, but used the namae Haku Maki.  He worked in many different techniques, cement-relief block  prints, woodblock and stencil often combining techniques in one print.


These charming woodblock very small prints are little “gems” they are 2x2” in pristine condition and  each one is set in a 2 1/2x 2 ½” rag mat.  This series are editions of 147/200, printed about 1975 and each print is penciled signed and numbered by the artist. The Price is $150 for each print.
